lotro 14-day trial download

Hi,

Anyone know where to get it from where they use a download manager like d2d use. its 9gb so dont really fancy watching it fail at 8.5gb in a browser lol.

i looked for an nzb but could only find 1 from 200days ago.

If anyone has a tip for getting it then please let me know.

Try Gamershell for the downloads. I remember a while back that I downloaded them all from there. There's a lot to get though.
 
use the american site to get it through their downloader which is a torrent one, you'll be playing on the US servers but it isnt too bad for ping e.t.c. and actually the service that Turbine provide is much better than codemasters (you get mylotro and stuff which is a bit like wowarmoury) which you dont get at ll in europe, so if you can i srongly recomend going with the american version, but at the very least use the US client for the trial as it is much easier

Basically, DDO is run by Turbine globally i think now, so you always have the Turbine downloader, but Lotro in europe is distributed by Codemasters who are an aweful company for MMOs (should have stuck to racing games), but if you do all your dealings with Turbine you'll find you have a much better experince, codemasters are always second to deliver everything, often dont deliver anything and is more expensive by a mile. The US lotro website lets you usethe Turbine Downloader just like DDO
 
I'll get the trial from turbine for sure sounds easy, thanks for the tips, and i will buy and install eu copy if i like it.

one thing though, the turbine lotro trial wont block out non USA ip's will it?
