regardless of the graphic settings and resoultion i always get very poor frame rates ive even tried playing it on 1024x768 on low

could it be my Internet connection ? its not that fast lol "512kbps"

No problems here except for the start when everythings loading, then its sweet - got a 10 meg connection but I dont think it makes that much difference to my framerate. There was some awful lag on the night of the patch, 400 or so in bree and it all went to hell there. Look in settings, switch on the network trace thingy and it'll tell you your ping. If you find things remarkably smoother in the sticks then it could be...

strange as i have c2d e6700 stock @ 2.67 , 4gig , 8800gtx , vista64 and it has always worked well 1920*1200 max detail, and with your specs you should have no probs at all.

i'd go for usual things like defrag then maybe a clean install if you have time or peruse codemasters official tech forum, they are usually very helpful..

like above ^^ what about other games and sp ?

It's got to be something driver related since I am playing at 1440x900 with most settings on high/very high and I've only got a Radeon x1950xt.

i really dont know what it is i was on vegas 2 online before everything maxed out on 1920x1080 gettin 60fps average, gears of war 50fps average
