Hi Folks,

After returning to Lord of the Rings Online recently after a short break I am keen to get back into the game again to enjoy the Isengard expansion due this autumn.

Upon logging into Eldar, (My server since lauch) I noticed a distinct lack of Kinships recruiting for those of us with busy lives that would prefer to be a bit more casual.

I just thought if others on Eldar shared my interests then we could start our own.

I'd be happy to provide Voice Comms and/or hosting if we get enough interest.

I know a fair majority of OcUK guys play on Laurelin & Snowbourne so tell me what you think or if anyone has ideas. (Covadan in-game)

Cheers.

I'm not sure how active the Laurelin one is now, I moved my toons a few weeks ago to start another kin with from friends who are refugees from SWG.

I don't want to be poaching from OcUK if there's still people on the go regularly on it, but if not, you're more than welcome in ours too, nice group of friendly, mature, low level people who haven't got a clue what they're doing, it's great :D

What server do you play on? Laurelin? If so, What/how does Turbine server transfers work?

Cheers fella.

The Laurelin one is largely quiet, I think we have about 5 "active" players but it will likely pick up again around the launch of Isengard. I'll be honest, I've contemplated moving across to a US kin to play with some friends there but I'm trying to keep the OcUK one alive.

The server transfers are paid and I think cost around £15.

I keep going back and forth to lotro i login in to Laurelin but then see nobody is online and get bored n don't play again for weeks :/

I'm on Eldar as mentioned so hence why I'm trying to organise something here. I have the time/desire to start a active Kinship with comms.

If enough people are serious about relinquishing the OCUK LotRO community then I'm willing to move server to start it back up.

Which server are you guys playing on? Im feeling a bit lonely, questing on my own. Would be happy to re roll to play in a group, just have a good descent chat etc. :)

Yes, on Laurelin guys. Send one of the following a tell :

Grimbane
Grimthane
Grimbriar
Grimdane

They're all me :)

Just to clarify - this isn't the OcUK kin, it's just a one I've started with some friends.

Few Questions if I may ;)

- Whats the Kinship named?
- Are any of you max level?
- How/Can I transfer to the server from Eldar?

Cheers boss.

I used to play EQ with a guy who had a toon named Grimbriar - like 13 years ago! Did you play EQ? And if so, did you go by any other names back then? :)

I don't think so, but it's a long time ago now :D

EQ1 I was on Mith Marr, the only toon name I can remember is my shaman, Culain.

Kinship is called Doomcraft. We're very definitely casual, I have a few 60ish toons, but all the others are still levelling, with a good few brand new people come over from SWG. Generally mature, helpful and polite. We actively kick ******** ;)

I've never done a server transfer, but I'd be amazed if you didn't have to pay for it, probably via lotro.com

Edit - yikes! http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?361270-Paid-(Premium)-Services-Status-Sticky

€ 25!!

Jesus Christ!

Don't think I can justify that.

Looks like server transfer really isn't an option as you lose quite a lot in the process.

There really is no-one on Eldar at all at the moment, Except the long standing *hardcore* raiding kinships.

Well you're more than welcome to start a toon on Laurelin with us, but I know that can be a bit of a pain when you've got a load of high level ones all with diffent craft skills etc
