Hi
New to the forums and new to overclockers - I am a huge fan of lotro an guild wars - looking for a new system to play both on high settings
Any advice on a system spec - as to budget - there is not one - just looking for something which will do the business but not need replacing inside a year
any advice - really welcome
look forward to it and have a great day all

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Do you require everything, as in OS, k&m, etc or just the tower(case and components)?
Aside from playing Lotro and Guild Wars, what other tasks will it be required to perform?

No real budget in mind - just want the system to be quick
Probably prefer windows 8 OS
As for other tasks general multimedia photos video music so nothing onerous
No need for other games to be played - console for that
Thks for the replies

So a prebuilt system. May be something like this Intel system. But with a 1TB hdd, 6GB ram and a 650ti Boost Gpu, for under £500.

Although, I would imagine a Trinity build would be more than adequate.

Though even with the configuator you can't get a great Trinity build for less than £450 ish, and i'd pay the extra £40 or so to have that i3 system (with the GTX 650ti)

This is the best Trinity system I could find for the same price as the Intel I specced earlier. But I still don`t think it compares very well for the price. Also, I don`t understand why they only spec 1600 ram in their Trinity systems and nothing faster.

Its a bit odd isn't it..

You'd of thought they could put some 1866 or 2133 in, even if it was just an option on the configuator, but it's not. :(
