Lots of crashing

Something else I've just picked up in CPU-Z, which I'm not sure if it makes any difference or not, is the FSB?

When the DRAM Speed is 1:1.25 (DDR2-680) 340.0 MHZ the FSB:DRAM is 4:5 and when it's 1:1.50 (DDR2-816) 408.0 MHZ it's FSB:DRAM is 2:3

Anyway I'm kinda new to some of this so I thought I'd mention this.

EDIT:

I also just did the whole validation thing through CPU-Z. I'm not ure if there is any info there that will be of any use: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=603231

There is something in red there which I'm not sure is bad (Freq : 1631.93 MHz (271.99 * 6))

Still getting freaking crashes

I was working in 3D Studio Max, Listing to some music through Winamp, had ACDSee running and Internet Explorer and BAMM!!!!!!! Another crash.... rebooted and just got into Windows and it crashed again

I dunno what the hell is going on as this is driving me nuts :(

Any other suggestions?

I had hideous problems with an IP35 and that ram - Tried upping Nbridge voltage Dram voltage , all types of timings but it would go utterly wrong when i had 8gb in and ran Memtest.

I ended up RMAing because of all the errors just to be on the safe side... Its very odd cos it was running perfectly for about a week then just decided to go **** up and became a BSOD fest.

Ive just bought 8gb of the Kingston stuff they have on special at the moment, Hope this will work better, I have a feeling its the motherboard/chipset just cant cope well with 8gb even with extra NB volts.

Im currently using 4 x 1gb of Gell stuff - so i cant understnad wny 4 x 2gb caused the problem - I know im probably goign to end up dumping this IP35 and look for a p45 or better chipset.. these early ones say they can take 8gb but the stability of it is just meh..
