hi me and family play one line of lotto every week and often each of us get one or two numbers and sometimes even three very often. i figure if i played all posibilites among our selections then we would win the jackpot so i'm looking for app that can generate all the possible combination from our selected numbers. does anyone know software that can do that?

you do realise that this has absolutely zero bearing upon what you will get the next time you play right?
Lets say two of you play the lottery and you both pick unique numbers [i.e. all 12 numbers are different]. You need all 6 digit combinations of 12 numbers...
That is 12C6 or 12! / 6! * (12-6)!
NB: ! means factorial, e.g. 3! is 3x2x1
Which comes out at
12! / ( 6! * 6! ) = 924.

I remember someone on GMTV years ago putting the odd's into perspective.
It was something like if you spent £2000 a week on tickets, it would take you around 200 years to win !!
Ever since then I don't do the lottery on a weekly basis.

i don't understand why you need software to do this?
if you found something that'll show you the numbers you need, then surely you'll still have to go through each one any way as you buy a ticket for each and every possibility and the only way to do this is to buy 1 row at a time.
also if you're going to win the lottery by simply choosing every possibility of the numbers you and your family normally pick then why not put some effort into it as you'll gain so much?
finally do you think that perhaps working this out would be too much for you to deal with and you'll get confused and lose track? if so what makes you think you're able to spend 2 minutes and come up with the solution of how to win the lottery when you can't figure out the possibilities of the numbers your family chooses?
