loud fans

just checked my bios... oops. hadn't investigated in there before and it looks like cpu fan was running 100% all the time. have changed it now, a lot quieter :) it appears there are to seperate cpu fans from my bios is this correct? changed them both to the 'q-mode' i assume q is quiet :)
 
Ide try the Scythe 1200rpm fans..

I have the 1600rpm in mine and i can hardly hear them so the 1200 ones should be deadly quiet..
 
Hi,

Q-Fan is rubbish compared to speedfan (if overclocking, otherwise its fine),
My cpu, under load, would get to 65+ degs (TAT) and the fan was still @ 900 rpm. :(

Speedfan has a really good help/how to guide if you want better fan speed/temp configs.

I would agree that with you, set all the small fans on low and the large fan on max. You really cant hear that large fan very much at all.

I sat and played with the setting from medium to max and their wasnt much in (personally anyway)
