Love steak - booked a table in Hawksmoor, London - anyone been there?

Birthday coming up in 5 week time, and have had Hawksmoor recommended by a friend so I've booked it. I'm a big steak fan, it's quite pricey though - has anyone been there?

I'm keen to know if it's what you made of it? Is it really good?
 
Yup starter will be skipped (although the black pudding maybe sampled).

600G bone in sirlion for myself, 300G fillet for the missus :] (unless theres 800G or similar porterhouse for us both on the blackboard)
Not 100% sure about side dishes, I'm thinking salad, spinach and beef dripping chips to share.
Jesus I could eat it now.
 
Sorry for thread resurection, finaly made it after my july date had to be cancelled.

Just had:
Corned beef and bacon
600g bone in sirlion
Bone marrow sauce
Buttered carrots
Beer dripping chips
Some cocktails and red wine

Amazing meal, me and the wife are stuffed and relaxing on a train home ready fir some more drinks ;)
 
I've got visitors down south in March and we're planning on a trip to Hawksmoor. I enjoyed it lots in December and can't wait to go again!

Also we're aiming to have lunch in Le Gavroche. Can't wait for that as well ;)
