Loving Pro Evo 6

Just bought a new Xbox 360. I had one when they came out but sold it as it was not getting the use at the time. I have now reinvested so to speak, and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

If anyone fancies a game of Pro Evo, Please add me

But I scored a goal with Stankovich that would win every goals of the season contest. Even the guy I was playing was telling me to watch as many times as I want, it was a stunning 30 yard scissor kick... truely BEAAYOOTEEFUL

Nice! In general though, the whole Inter Milan team is overated in the game. And adriano is god!

Adriano is so stupidly good which is why most pick inter and brazil. Mind u i do play with chelsea

My 360 is due on monday so i could give u a game then, i'm a pretty good standard at it so maybe i could teach u a few things

Is there no random option so the AI selects the team rather picking inter etc?

I've used Brazil since ISS Pro 98, am I excused from the criticism?

I've said it before and i'll say it again, no player (Adriano included) is unstoppable with decent defending.

Funny thing is when I play with Adriano I hardly ever score with him and often I drop him for Crespo. Ibrahimovic on the other hand is almost always my main goal threat.

Just make sure you don't play any germans or frenchies, according to earlier threads they cheat by hanging the game until you decide to disconnect... bloody Johnny foreigners an all that!

Try picking a different team, bet those goals wont flow quite so well. So many people on PES6 play with inter and brazil and rely on the ability of the players rather than their own ability, most people with inter and brazil never even make it to the box, they just shoot asap and this sounds like a prime example of that.

Pick a non elite team and learn the game with them, you'll be miles better for it and wont be so ****** off when you get slammed by someone with a lower level team.

Makes me laugh when people say "ive played with inter and brazil from the start, im not just doing it now". Except brazil were almost definitely the best team on the game back then and inter wont have been far off, its a cop out. And yes, if you defend well then inter and brazil can be stopped, but when you can shoot from as far as Adriano can score from then (with little effort) then you pretty much have to have 100% possession to stop conceding.

I liked the game to begin with, but im going off it now.... too many cheaters about and quite a few annoying bugs, particularly being unable to save formations in the online section.

Also, AI attackers and defenders are completely stupid and dont make runs forward into space or the box or back tracking with attacking players, its pretty poor, im almost tempted to try fifa! Not to mention the number of goals that have been conceded by my stupid goalkeeper coming out all be himself, which really didnt need to be added to the game, makes it very easy to pass across goal and score.

The problem I'm finding at the moment is the stupidness of players barging through my defenders or just running past them while my players run the other way or just stand there :/

No idea what I'm doing wrong because I was pretty awesome on PES5, however this one is really frustrating me to tears sometimes.

And everyone seems to play the same way, get the ball 1 pass then RUN RUN RUN RUN to the byeline, pass across goal, boom, 1-0.

Where's the sparring and creating space like in PES5?

That has always been a tactic in pro evo, they stopped it a little in 5 but other than that in every version this has been one of the best ways of scoring.

i believe one of the top top players in pro evo 6 only plays with scotland... so that guy must be amazing. I beat a good inter player the other day with charlton who i accidently chose

. Thing is, when u play with a crap team, u play better and there's no doubt about that. Obviously it's easier to pick a squad with better players

All his wins are 3-0 for the other player quitting.

The thing is, there's so much of the game that's missing when compared to the ps2 version. It;s a damn shame
