Hi all ive had my 1055t for about a month or so now, and just got around to testing it using passmark, and i found that my passmark cpu score was about 1000 points below the expected value, i also used the benchmark tool within AMD opverdrive and this gave a far lower than
expected score also. my system specs are:

-AMD 1055t 2.8Ghz
-MSI 870a-G54 motherboard
-Corsair DDR3 memory 1333Mhz
-ATI HD4650 1Gb DDR2
-WD caviar blue 500Gb HDD
-500W PSU (generic brand)

my passmark cpu score = 4329
average passmark 1055t score = 5186

all my drivers and bios are up to date, and i am using passmark 7.
i achieve stable temps of around 30-40 degrees celcius.
any help with this issue would be much obliged, as a 1000 points below average sounds bad to me :X

average is higher because of all the people overclocking?

if you can find a cpu benchmark that doesnt need installing ill run it and tell you what i get.

Here are the tests I've just run on mine.

One thing that comes to mind is do you have turbo core enabled? If this thing uses 2 cores or less mine would probably run @3.3 vs 2.8 for an 18% clockspeed increase vs the 20% lead I have over you in the test.

AMD Phenom x6 1055t 95W @2.8
GigaByte GA-880GA-UD3H
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 @1600 11:11:11:29 1T
Gigabyte 460GTX SOC @ 810/4000
OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB
Windows 7 Home Premium x64

CPU goes north of 50C under load as I've not got round to installing a better heatsink and overclocking. Seems too much of a hassle as I've no performance compaints at the mo.

firstly yes i had tried fiddling with the turbo core and cool'n'quit options to no avail, and i am running windows 7 32 bit, you think it could be the reason im getting lower benchmark scores? also i only have 2gb of RAM, would a move to 64 bit be of any use to me?

64 bit OS and 4 gig of RAM should make a difference. Graphics card isn't amazing either. Might be fine for what you use it for, but it could pull the benchmark down.

1055T Overclocked at 3.5GHz with 8Gb of 1600Mhz DDR3 and windows 7 64 bit see sig for the rest.

Needs a better graphics and SSD to shine, but quick enough for me.
