Ran core temp and got idle temps of 12, 25, 22, 22 and prime95 blend temps of 45, 55, 50, 50

I haven't touched any settings but core temp gave a clock speed of 3.8ghz (turbo:confused:)

The load temps seem fine for nh d14 but that 12degree idle temp is weird as hell, the room was probably at 15degrees

Should I use an offset or would reading the highest temp suffice?

Mine is the same, currently reading 25-23-25-13 at idle. Seems like i have a dodgy sensor at idle. Theres still a bit of difference at load, but some is to be expected. My 5 previous intel quads were the same. I just read the highest temp. Iirc, my q9550 had one core at 15c lower than the rest at load or idle.

Gotta remember the sensor is not on the chip, it's in the socket so this may well happen. As setter said just take the highest value :)
