Low 3d Mark 05 score for specs

ok my setup is

AMD 3800 X2 64
ATI X1900XT 512mb
Hiper 580W Type-r Psu
Freezer Pro 64
2X 512MB OCUK Value Ram (Elixir) PC3200
ASUS A8R32-MVP

i have just run 3d mark 05 and i got

9647 3d marks

this seems a bit low to me i should be getting around 11k shouldnt i?

had similar speeds myself on a operton at 1.8 ghz,
9749 at 2ghz.
I sent my card back because it was overheating tho so that might have had soemthing to do with it,

could using the modular cable 6 pin gfx card cable that came with my hiper psu be the problem i.e not providing enough power or somthing?

Is this a new pc build? If not, did you uninstall previous drivers etc?

Seems about right, I get 10800 3dmark 2005 (4400+ OC to 2.4ghz, 2GB RAM, X1900XT, same motherboard)

I got 9552 using spec in the sig, so is about right

I get 5668 on my setup.

Your CPU is probably bottlenecking the card, try clocking the CPU up a bit and you'll probably get at least 10k stock with your video card.

Score seems fine to me...I get about 10500 at stock.

check that you have anti alaising switched of in catalyst settings.

i got 11378 which is disapointing consider i have 2 X1900XTX's in crossfire.
Only got 5360 in 06 as well but that did have a lot of crap running in the background. Current have duel core 4800 running at stock.

Yep, not sure what it is that is slowing though.

Just to add my system spec, all running at stock at the moment as i have been trying to figure out what the problem is.

Duel core [email protected] (200X12 stock)
2gb PC3200 Ram (cant remeber ram timings off the top of my head)
X2 300gb Sata drives in raid 0
X1 300gb sata drive
Msi RD480 Neo2-FI mother board
X1900XTX Master Card
X1900XTX Slave Card
700w Epsilon PSU

In theory even at stock it should be getting a hell of a lot higher scores then its getting. I dont think its actually getting much higher then with a single card in. If anyone has any suggestions on things to check please say because im completely stumped now.

Oh just thought of one other thing. In catalyst i can only select one of my cards from the drop down menus is this nromal? The system see's both the cards, catalyst see them too because it lets me enable crossfire mode but when i go to the overdrive section it only shows me my master card and the drop down only shows my master card too. Never used crossfire before so i just assumed this was normal. Edit: scrap that just checking Ati's site and it disables the other card when you put crossfire on.

Hmm i would have thought the op's comp would have given more in 3dmark 05 tbh, as i get 9.6k with 148 @ 2.8ghz / 1 gig of ram / x1800xt at stock
