These are the testing results for the two on a hardware site I found. The figure on the left is the Freezer 7 Pro. The figure on the right is the Hyper TX. I think these are using a P4.
Noise level high speed (10 cm.) 45 dB 47 dB
Noise level low speed (10 cm.) 37 dB 36 dB
Temperature with 20 Watt load / High speed 24.3 °C 25.2 °C
Temperature with 20 Watt load / High speed 28.9 °C 30.4 °C
Temperature with 60 Watt load / High speed 33.1 °C 35.4 °C
Temperature with 80 Watt load / High speed 37.4 °C 40.2 °C
Temperature with 100 Watt load / High speed 41.9 °C 45.7 °C
Temperature with 120 Watt load / High speed 45.9 °C 51.3 °C
Temperature with 20 Watt load / Low speed 26.6 °C 25.8 °C
Temperature with 40 Watt load / Low speed 33.3 °C 31.8 °C
Temperature with 60 Watt load / Low speed 39.9 °C 38.2 °C
Temperature with 80 Watt load / Low speed 46.5 °C 43.9 °C
Temperature with 100 Watt load / Low speed 52.8 °C 50.1 °C
Temperature with 120 Watt load / Low speed 59.1 °C 55.6 °C
There's not a great deal between them. The Freezer 7 Pro performs better at high speeds (the fan is bigger and has a higher max RPM anyway).
My [email protected] runs at 54C under Orthos full load with a Freezer 7 Pro. Just remember that the cooler is not all that matters - make sure that you have decent air flow in your case too.
