low end system cpu choice

If i was to use an amd chip in a low end, low cost day to day pc for the woman to facebook to death. what would be best to go for Athlon, Phenom, Llano or FX

i cant see it needing more that 2 or 3 cores, and i would buy the worst budget bored known to man :p.

the first thing i did was go make a athlon set up then i noticed the cost of the low end Llano and FX so i dont know where to go, any input would be super
 
Lots of choices, Low end socket 1155 intel are only £50 - £60 and have basic grahics built in. Llano is a little faster GPU wise but either will be fine for face book and casual games.

Personally I'd splash for a cheap laptop then she has access to it anywhere. She can watch Eastenders on Iplayer while doing your ironing..... ;)

she as killed 2 laptops this year. when i go to work and the boys in bed the plonks them on here lap for upto 4hr's at a time and cooks them and no matter how much i tell her she still dose it
 
Get one of those security chains so it can only go up to 1m from the desk? :)

Go Llano, I want someone to tell me if its any good :P
