Hi

Just bought a new case for my pc

I also bought a new cpu cooler and a 512gb SSD

after moving everything in to the new case i now get really bad FPS on my 780ti, like 20 on skyrim. before i got a lot higher

my PSU is a seasonic 850w.

I have tried uninstalling old drivers and then reinstalling the new one again but my fps is still really low on all games

i have removed GPU and reseated and even changed the cables from the psu

i moved steam to the SSD and im not sure if that would have anything to do with it?

on your old hdd was it in ide or ahci mode?

if ide you'll need to do a reg tweak to enable ahci drivers without re installing windows,i only know the tweak for win7 though

ide mode is very slow for ssd's,they need ahci mode

im not sure i will have to have a look i dont really understand what ide or ahci is
i use a 128gb ssd as boot drive and have a 1tb HDD.

i bought another SSD this time 512gb so have 3 storage devices.

its all I can think of tbh

look in the bios for the sata modes it will say either ide or ahci

latest motherboard bios might help

what ssd and motherboard you using?

try updating the intel rapid storage drivers, they will be on your motherboard driver download page
