Low FPS in all games?

Recently ive been experiencing REALLY low fps in all my games. Company of heroes for example I have to set to all LOW settings at 1440x900 to get playable fps.

My specs :

Intel pentium D 805
EVGA 650i ultra
EVGA 8800gts 320mb sc
2gb ddr crucial ballistix ram
hiper type m 520w psu
250gb seagate barracuda 10 sata

I havn't changed anything in my pc and its recently started happeneing. The only thing I can think of is a few days ago my psu fan stopped working and it shut down because it got too hot. However the fan started working again and its been fine ever since.

ive just run 3dmark 06 and im getting 4550 3d marks. Is this normal?

think 3dmark looks around right, if i remember well i had ~5300 with my old p4 3.2ht, 4gig ram and my 8800gt
have you defragment your hdd recently? check for virus/addware...
maybe reinstall win
