Hi I know there is a battlefeild 3 but trying to post in there and get heard is like trying to sign a lula bye in a rave... so heres my question...

Today i find out caspin border is open to play so iam straight on it and my relise my FPS are low compared to metro..

On Metro outside i get about 60-80 fps on my rig in sig and 98-99% gpu usage across all the three (these are all on high settings with textures on ultra)

But when i load up caspin border iam gettin around the 30-45 fps which feels horrible and choppy, so i drop the gfx settings to low and wait for the match to re start and still the same frame rate ?

So i look at my afterburner read out and see that iam only getting 35-47% usage on my gpus ????

Has anyone else experianced this or know of a solution to my problem ?

Running dual sli here, and ive never experienced low gpu usage with bf3, metro or caspian. 98-99% use on both cards, 1200mb of ram used 70fps min, high settings, 2x msaa, motion blur on, ambient occlusion off, 1920x1200. Cod bo though has exhibited low gpu use for me since release, typically 50% per card.

hmmm iam going to try rooling the drivers back if not ill try 2 way sli

i just find it kinda of strange one map works fine ni on 100% usgae and caspin is less the 50%

Ywe it now working on the old drivers gettin 70 fps at 2560x1440 but a couple of graphical issues like the back ground some times flashes but running a lot smoother now

My 5870 is dying. :(, having to run the game on medium, and having to underclock it.

No money for something different, Reckon my 4870 backup will do it any better given the current situ.

Having to underclock to 575 core, 600 mem. :(

Monitor your cpu usage as well, it wouldn't surprise me if you are cpu limited on some maps running tri-sli

I would off thought that at 1st but my cpu holds up great and got 100% scaling in metro so was just wondering if it was a issue with just the map ..

I think some people forget for powerful the i7 920's are @4ghz lol :p
