"low" Memory rating in Vista 64

Hello,

Got 4 gig (4X 2gig) of Crucial Ballistix Tracer and my other system specs are GTX8800x2 (SLI), Quad 9650, on a 780 mobo etc. Well, in Vista, everything gets 5.9, apart from my ram, which is 5.0 (it was 5.2 on 2 gigs before the upgrade to 4 gigs.

Seems to run ok, but still, was wondering why my memory is the weakest link, and should - IMHO be 5.9 witht the rest of the hardware.

I was surprised by this as well. I got 5.6 with 4gb black dragon.

I get 5.9 with 2gb running at 816mhz.

i get 5.9 with 4 x 1GB of OCZ PC2-6400 platinum at stock

(4-4-4-12)

my problem is that my HDD gives me a rating of only 4.8!

Thanks. Well it's 1066 ram i believe, but if i overclock my cpu it goes down to 800 anyway. So, yea, i'll Ignore it.

The Vista ratings have seemed a little off - i get 5.9 in everything bar a 5.8 with my e8500 @ 4ghz :confused:

and my HDD (older WD SATA drive) which gets 5.3.

I wouldn't lose any sleep about it TBH.
