Hi there.

In the gfx card section in 3d mark firestrike topic i posted a result of my system and i asked later is my physics score low and gregster said yeah and to come in cpu section and ask for help so here i am.

Here is some info.

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/1289471

3570k at 4.5ghz watercooled antec 620.
670 at 1250 boost and 1700 on the ram using latest 327.23 drivers

6314 score. Is this good? i had overclocked the gpu boost from standard boost of 1149 to 1250 tho i have pushed it all the way to 1320 i think but didnt wana push my luck in this one.

Firestrike detailed scores:

3DMark Score6314.0
Graphics Score7547.0
Physics Score5987.0

My ram is some 2x4gb corsair arctic white vengence 1.35v ram.

Ram is using XMP profile so it does all the settings for me. Tho i do wonder about the 1T instead of 2T but meh ill just leave it as cba to tweak the ram manually when overclocking.

When idle my cpu goes to 1600mhz to 3200mhz to 4ghz etc when not doing much, tho the volts dont move down when doing so because im using fixed volts not dvid cos dvid wasnt stable as fixed was. In windows i have balanaced set in power options, tho dont think it matters really.

I do have speedstep and things on in bios but i would have thought when stress tested that the cpu would be working at 4.5ghz as set in bios ok enough. About my overclock well its 1.190v in bios (was ok at 1.185v but thought id notch it up one extra just for more stability). 45 multi, 100 bclk, vcore voltage responce to Fast, pwm phase control to ext performance. Didnt touch anything else.
