I think SSE boost is not running even though it says it is, I'm sure there's a flag to force it on but i can't remember what it is?

use the batch file and your'll never get that problem again (also seam to give greater stability)

open notepad
cut and paste code below (change path as required)
save as smp.bat

double click to actavate

job done

you could add -forceasm to the list of flags but running consecutive -oneunit's means they always start ok.

Code:
@echo off
echo Starting FAH for the first time
echo -------------------------------
echo.
"C:\Folding@home\WinSMP\fah.exe" -oneunit -verbosity 9 -local
:restart
echo.
echo Restarting FAH
echo -------------------------------
echo.
"C:\Folding@home\WinSMP\fah.exe" -oneunit -verbosity 9 -local
goto restart

I thought the WinSMP client forced SSE at all times.
It should do but it's still a beta so doesn't always :(

That was the 11th unit it started, the other 10 were fine, yesterday it spent 3-4 hours doing nothing but waiting for a WU (not sure if it had anything to do with it) and this morning when I checked the log, although it said SSE boost had started, I think it had not, and now I am 99% certain this was the problem as that flag has fixed it straight away.

I may use that script if I get any more problems running win SMP and it not accepting WU straight away, thanks :)
