Low profile GPU for 3/4 monitors

Hi all,

I've got an Asus A520-M motherboard and need a low profile GPU for 3 or potentially 4 monitors. Workflow will be purely office based work so no gaming, mining, rendering or video editing. Performance really isn't important, it just needs to be able to drive 3 or potentially 4 monitors - ideally 4K.

CPU is a 4600G and 16GB RAM if that makes a difference.

Any thoughts? Does such a thing exist? The motherboard has 1x HDMI so maybe if I can use that, plus a GPU with 2x HDMI / DP that'll give me 3 monitors?

Used Quadro P1000 from the auctions. 4 x 4k @ 60fps mini display port so make sure it comes with 4 x mini dp to dp adapters.

Slight thread bump as I'm finally in a position to buy this. The requirements have slightly changed - it now needs to power 3x 4k monitors only (not 4).

I also have a choice, I can stick with low profile and go for the P1000 which seems to be the best bet or easily swap the PC into a full sized case. If I do this, is there a better option now that I don't need the GPU to be low profile?

Motherboard is the same (Asus A520-M) and there is no gaming involved, just looking to drive 3x high resolution monitors for work.

If you don't need any particular GPU performance, you could even drop down to a p620 for less than a p1000.

There's also the (full height) m2000, which has 4x full size DP, so no need for adapters or fancy cables and around the same used price as p620

m is Maxwell (9 series equivalent) and p is Pascal (10 series)

Both support 4x 4K at 60Hz (with whichever size DP adapter)
If you want the option to move to a full height case, make sure the one you buy (if LP) includes both brackets!

That's super helpful, I've just ordered a P620 from eBay. There is no need for any sort of graphical performance, everything I do is web based and work related - emails, RDP, Excel etc...

It doesn't come with any adapters though so I've got the option of mini DP to HDMI or mini DP to DP as my monitors have both options?

Yeah as far as I'm aware either should work... although I'm using a DP to HDMI converter and despite all devices seemingly supporting it, it seems to not want to work with HDCP (still does 4k60, just no HDCP!), something to bare in mind if you want to watch protected HD/4K content on streaming services/BluRay :P Don't see if being an issue for office work etc though!

Perfect, 4x Dell MDP to DP adapters ordered for less than £15 so all sorted!
