Presumably the rear PCI slots are half height then.

Problem is a lot of cards nowadays are full height...Either way I'll have a gander.
 
Looks to me like it's probably a full height slot so you should be ok with that HIS card.

9600gt is better than 4670 (i think) so the 8800gt/9800gt are better than it too..

In what terms are they better m8? also would i see any real difference between them in terms of blu ray playback?

Would that card be alright? or should i go with something else?
I think it should be ok since it has ATi's onboard UVD2 hi def processing chipset. Should take a lot of workload of the CPU while you're watching blu rays.

As bledd says though. If you do think you might play games at some point then something like an 8800GT would possibly be a better choice.
