Hi guys,

would like it to be mce compliant but as long as it will work with it im happy :)

Not sure on a low profile PCI TV card but if you can't find one then look at a USB stick DVB T stick.

I've got a Freecom one and it works flawlessly with Windows MCE, providing you use BDA drivers.

OCUK have a few USB Tuners of its website and if it states compatability with MCE then you know the drivers are BDA.

never used the usb versions, uis the picture and capture quality as good? I take it they dont do hardware coding and so rely on the processor?

Encoding is software based so done on the CPU rather than the Tuners hardware.

Heres a quick capture from a live broadcast I done a few minutes ago for you:

what sort of spec would be needed to record happily? also do the usb versions suppoert widescreen and nicam sound?

I'm on a P4 3GHz Northwood and have no problems. With regards to the minimum requirement, I'm not 100% sure to be honest. What kind of spec is the machine you want to use?

Sound wise, its AC3 compatible and supports HDTV/AC3 standards.

Supports 16:9 widescreen (if broadcast) and standard 4:3.

The Compro VideoMate DVB-T200, and Compro VideoMate DVB-T300 are both low profile pci cards, ocuk use to sell them but its seems they dont any more, i guess you could look else were
