Low sound on Windows 10?

Hi All,

I seem to be having a issue with headsets on my PC. The volume at max on my headsets are low and I can actually listen to things with it at full max settings.

I have got the hyper cloud alpha s which i can listen to on full setting fine and I just brought the Astro A40TR with the MixAmp and it’s the same issue, full loud settings and I can listen to it fine. I have checked windows volume and it’s on 100. Both headsets are plugged in via USB is this the issue?

Try another USB slot away from used slots, and USB3. Try unplugging some other peripherals just to check there. Try the usual driver updates too. That's all i can think of USB wise.

Those USB sound dongles are probably just wimpy cheapos.
