Low sound Video playback

Hi

I seem to have a slight problem with video playback. Currently use Windows Media Player Classic on Windows 7 and playing videos fine but one annoying problem is the audio sound.

It starts off lower pitch and then progressively increases in volume to what it should on its own and does this throughout the video at each part. Pretty certain it could be linked to klite codec pack I recently upgraded. Anyone else seen this or know of a fix?

I remember Skype used to be a pain in the backside when it came to changing volumes in windows whenever it felt like it.

It's not 'normalising' the volume, is it?

Anyway, why are you using K-Lite? It's not needed with any decent video player (PotPlayer, MPC-HC, VLC, etc).

I use VLC no faffing about with codecs.
