I completed my first PC build today, and I am currently using powerline adaptors to connect to my Wi-Fi.

However, it is running at around 2 mbps, where as on my Macbook which is connected straight from Airport it is running at 80 mbps.

Is there a solution to this, such as an update?

Thanks.

The phrasing of your first sentence is a bit strange. I assume you mean that you're using powerline adapters to connect to your router.

The first step is to prove whether the powerline adapters are at fault or not.

Ideally temporarily replace the powerline connection with a cable. It's also worth connecting the Macbook using the powerline adapters and see if it has the same problem.
