My PC is as in my sig but when I run superpi it gives me a score of 34 secs for 1m calcs.
I've looked at the superpi thread in the overclocking forum and my score seems very slow indeed.
It is a relatively fresh install of Vista HP 64 bit with very little running in the background.
Any help or advice welcome.

All of the power savings are off. Seems to be nothing untoward in task manage,r CPU usage varies between 0% to 15% and RAM usage in normal. I'm baffled, the PC seems snappy enough and the games I play, Crysis Warhead, FO2 etc run great.

3dMark 06 6713
Changed Nvidia drivers from 180.42 betas to 178.13 WHQL and got 5066
This was at stock in case the overclock was causing problems.
With the PC at stock my Superpi score is now 50 secs. I'm beginning to get frustrated now.

Have you cleared out any old chipset drivers or checked to make sure you have the most current chipset drivers for your mobo installed?

Looking in the resource and performance monitor screen in Vista I noticed that the CPU maximum frequency is set for 50% I have no idea if this is correct or not so any comments welcome.
Found the problem :D Power management was set to power saver which limited the CPU to 50% maximum frequency. Set power option to performance and now my SuperPi score is 16 secs
Thanks to everyone for their help.
