Low voltage ram

Quick ask on low voltage ram...

Kingston Hyper X 1600mhz
KHX1600C9D3LK2/8GX
1.35v


Appears on my QVL as supported, to replace my Corsair xms3 1600 c11 8gb which downclocks to 1333 as its not on QVL.

Is the low voltage really a bad thing?
could I overclock this a little by upping the 100mhz bus.....?

Your RAM should still run at 1600mhz even if it is not on the QVL (its basically impossible to test all ram and put it on the QVL).

What happens when you set it to 1600mhz? Are you loading the XMP profile?
