Windows 7.
Formatted drive, reinstalled and everything is working fine but sound is way too quiet. Max settings barely feels like normal volume.
Couple of things. Realtek on board sound. Headphones connect through my keyboard, keyboard connects to motherboard sound jack. Plugged my headphones directly to the jack - no sound. Connect back through keyboard - no sound.
Reinstall sound drivers - sound is back but still too low. I do have an actual sound card that I wasn't been used prior to reinstall, but now I cannot get any sound through that either, despite device manager saying it is working.
The only yellow triangles in device manager is the PCI Input Device stating no driver installed and whatever I do no drivers can be found (I think it's always been like that) and the AMD HD Audio driver (windows cannot recognise the digital signature)
Furthermore, whilst I only have 1 game installed (lol) the sound is even lower than what I experience on YouTube/VLC etc.
Can post specs when I'm home. Pretty stumped at the moment. Think I read a similar problem suggesting to reset the BIOS.
Thanks
