Low volume from shield TV?

I notice I have to have my TV volume up to max when watching a movie on the shield.. I have it setup so when I use the volume swipe on my Shield remote it controls me TV volume.

Any ideas what this could be?.... Thinking maybe recent update caused it.

There's volume on the shield, possibly in the app, as well as on the TV, check all 3 to see if one of them has inadvertantly been turned down
