Hi guys,

I just installed the 64bit RC release of Windows 7, got the latest drivers, and then ran the experience index. I am happy with all the scores, apart from the graphics rating as I have a 4870x2 and have seen people with the card getting 7.9. I realise the windows experience scores arent the be-all and end-all, but I am wondering if the low score points to an underlying problem with my system.

The strange thing is that the tool reports me as having 2815mb total graphics memory. As far as I know, the card comes with 2gig, not nearly 3gig!

I am running the 9.4 catalysts from the official amd site for Windows 7 x64. I also have a 1000watt psu so i dont think it's a power issue. Is there a known problem with 4870x2 and windows experience scores?

Cheers.

Windows will try and make a small portion of system memory (think it's based on a percentage) available for graphics memory if the graphics card's memory fills up. Has done since XP but has only shown it since Vista.
