Hi fellow cookery masters ![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/smile.gif)
I need some advice
Me and my fella are trying to loose some weight - nothing exciting, just reducing calorie intake.
The thing is, I like to bake
I love to experiment with new recipes and make something nice and interesting either for a desert or as a main meal
Last night we were having a very healthy chicken curry (which consisted of in the spoiler)
So the meal totalled up to 444 cals each - good right?
I made some home made Naan breads (gotta love the Naans). Really easy and they were lovely
Problem I have is, even though I used Zero Fat Greek Yoghurt (170g/ 97 cals in total used) the Plain Flour totalled 863 cals!!! ![Eek! ](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/eek.gif)
Normal Plain Flour is 345 cal per 100g (250g used in the recipe)
What alternatives are there out there for traditional plain flour with a lower calorie count? I would love to make these Naans again but I really cant unless we have LOADS of cals left at the end of the day![Frown :( :(](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/frown.gif)
