Lower latency or higher mhz?

Decent clock without much fuss by the look of it. That's something I don't have the patience for, ram clocking and tuning timings for efficiency.

Didn't you used to run some Gskill 2133 ram. If so! what did you manage to squeeze out of them?

Was IMC limited on sb-e but 2450 10-12-12 was nice and easy.

To tell if you have single sided mfr's, check the trfc, if its 400+ then you have mfr, it won't lower much and its this that kills perf on them.

To put it in perspective 2400 7-10-7 spanked 2933 12-14-14 in superpi 32m by around 13 seconds.

Tbh i only changed the primary timings and trfc to 196. 8 Pack suggested a few changes for the secondary and third timings but i never got round to trying them.

That's not bad at all. I run the RipjawsZ 2133MHz and struggled to get past 2400MHz last time I had a play, although didn't spend much time trying.

They dont need to be 2T they can go 1T for sure. I still have a kit here at OCUK use em now and again.

TRAS can be 28.

I say 2T as the kits I'd tried needed a hefty voltage bump to get 1T while keeping the rest of the primary timings at 10-12-12, I could do 10-12-12-28-2t @ 1.65v or 1t at 1.75-1.8v

On another note I've been offerd 2x4gb tg 2600 c10 Sammy ic for a ton, worth a punt on haswell? Need some higher capacity sticks for 24/7.
