Ive read that the ddr2+3 board doesnt clock as well, and doesnt have some features of the other boards... but its a very good board by all accounts, and with the ddr3 option for almost half the price its an interesting deal,
however, ive been struggeling with the same dilema, the upgrade path is cloudy.
by the time ddr3 hits mainstream youll probably want a better board anyway, and fast ddr2 is cheap.
im currently leaning towards the DQ6, but im holding back untill the prices/first reviews of the x38 boards surface.
Im currently torn between GA_P35C_DS3R which supports DDR2 and DDR3, the DQ6(ddr2 ver.) for better clocking and better onboard audio, and x38 but if you just want a good price on a p35 i think its a great deal for £80ish
ive got no intention of buying a soundcard, although i do like quality audio, so the DQ6 looks good for that and its a good oc'er, however, with tech moving so fast i do wonder if £140 on a mobo is a waste when you can get almost as good for £80.
the thinking mans choice has to be the GA_P35C_DS3R which supports DDR2 and DDR3, purely in tems of economics.
