Anyone know if this monitor will work at full resolution with the integrated Intel 4600 graphics processor in my 4770K? I am only using for business apps not gaming.

The graphics chip spec seems to suggest it does support 3840x2160 @ 60Hz with DP1.2 but i have read of problems in a review i found of 4K monitors and this setup - "We were able to get the full resolution and refresh rate with DisplayPort in MST mode, but the display was extremely choppy to the point of un-usability"

p.s. Hey - my second post in 13 years - is this a record?

Great price for this... I'm really tempted by one but holding out for G-Sync.

Using a 28" 4K day-to-day, it definitely works, but there's no doubt at all that 40" would be a much more comfortable size for the res.

It said ending Wednesday I had this in my basket got back 16:00 had gone up. Oh well I will wait till after xmas now. Pity you didn't state a time that the offer would end.

Yes, it does. Been using one with an i4690K for months and it works AOK at native font [ie 4K] with Win 7.64 Ent. Never tried it with games although old legacy games seemed fine thus far. As you know, the i5 4690K has the same HD4600 graphics as the i7 4790K.

Currently using the Asus Z97 v10.18.14.4206 and is AOK - although 2 of the earlier Intel versions from The Net was iffy.

Do not be taken-in by adverts, be they from self-certified experts or "advertisorial" worshipfuls, about "colours are Amazin'", etc. They are not out of the box. This item is not cheap from the factory for no reason, its price having dropped from God to Commoner's Muck categories over a short time.

At current OCUK price, they are OK though. Bought mine from an Italian selling in UK Brazilian Jungly for slightly more than current OCUK's price. You'll be buying this for screen real estate @4K and perhaps little else.

Apologies to OCUK if this comment seemed manipulative.

Above comment was meant to answer "maxicat"s query [#3] about, "....Anyone know if this monitor will work at full resolution with the integrated Intel 4600 graphics processor in my 4770K? ..."

Thanks for the info dlte353.

I went for one in the end and just got it working full res at 60Hz using the Intel HD4600 graphics processor in the 4770k. It seems fine.
