Lowest spec system for W7?

As title, what's the lowest spec system anyone has W7 running smoothly on.

My W7 PC is:

Dual Core 2.2Ghz Celeron
1GB PC6400 RAM
Sapphire x1950pro

I get a WEI of 4.0 on that.

Has anyone got it running on a P4 with less than 1 gig?

i wouldn't want to run Vista/7 on single core or less than 2gb

i'm sure they'll run on a lot less, but not well

I'm planning on installing Windows 7 on a P4 2GHZ, 512mb memory 64mb gfx, will let you know how it runs, or doesn't, whatever the case may be.

I am running Windows 7 in a Virtual box of 512Mb memory.
Host is my Core2Duo laptop but its running smoother than a babies bum in the VM!

Tried w7 on my Pentium Dual Core 2ghz with 512mb DDR2 and Geforce 9600GT 512mb. Felt like I was running XP on 512mb which is smooth compared to how Vista runs on the same amount of ram.

My mums PC is

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ CPU
1GB DDR400 Ram
200GB HD
Geforce 6200 Graphics

And it runs..................................MINT!

Muchfaster than Vista was on this PC and only slightly slower than XP was on this system.

Seems to be the best of both worlds. Visuals and Security of Vista and the light weight of XP
