Hi all

Is anyone running a 45nm CPU on the ASUS P5K? The BIOS will only let me select 1.1v as the lowest vcore when running a E6300 CPU. I'm curious to know if the BIOS will allow you to select a lower vcore if it detects a 45nm CPU.

Don't suppose anyone knows of a way to adjust the vcore through windows? I tried CrystalCPUID but that didn't work.

Not got a P5K but i suppose there's a chance it might open up lower voltage options.

I have a gigabyte M-ATX mobo with an e7200 in and that has options to 1.1v (voltage it's running at the moment) and below.

Hopefully someone will come back with the answer you're looking for. :)

Hehe, thanks :)

I'm more of an underclocker so I currently run my E6400 (2.13ghz stock) at 1.6ghz @ 1.1v. It's not really worth spending money on a 45nm CPU just to get a lower vcore, but curiousity has go the better of me.

I can't find any hacked BIOSs for the P5K either.
