Having been stuck in a hotel for the last month I have finially topped out my Marriot Card. Now ive had this one quiet a while but as my company has no fixed policy on hotels i get moved around allot of diffrent brands.

Marriots Card actually seems pretty good, ive got points for free nights that I can actually use and get more popints and free upgrades now that im all platinium.

Contrary to this my BA card/miles are proving more and more useless. After you have paid all the fees the miles are only useful to upgrade, because for a ecco flight to the US it only saves you around £100

Tescos club card points? maybe I dont use them enough but ive never had anything good back from them.

Shell Fuel club? Im not even sure this ones real cause in 2 years I've never got one of those fuel vouchers.

Which ones are worth doing?

I use the two you dislike.

BA Amex card for upgrades to Business class or full redemption bookings in Business (never use on economy)

And Tesco credit card, points are converted to BA Miles.

You could sign up for the www.airmiles.co.uk credit card? No taxes to pay on flights

Holiday Inn - Priority points, you can redeem the rewards for nights in the Holiday inn or get a gift card you can spend in any hotel, even rivals.

Like you, I'd remained loyal to Shell for a long time for my diesel. I used the fuel card, AND received points on my Shell Citi card towards fuel vouchers. I've still never received a single voucher.

Morrison's fuel card on the other hand, paid me a £5 store voucher after I'd only used them the odd few times I couldn't find a Shell nearby. I now buy my fuel at Morrison's, and the car runs better too lol

tesco clubcard :)

use myne, and gave a fob for my mum to use when she does the massive food shop! so i get loads of points and a good £30 in vouchers every 3 months :)

If you use a service why not just have a card to get more for your money.....

I have a tesco club card and that is about it :p

Morrisons Miles for petrol. Gets you a £5 voucher every so often for use in store on anything.

Nectar Card for BP/Sainsburys/Online. Earn points for every £/Litre of fuel and for various sites if you go through the nectar points site first. Had several blu-rays with my points off there from using Nectar with my company BP fuel card. Can also be used as money off at Argos etc.

I only have a Tesco Clubcard and it is the best thing in the world

Last time i got coupons through i got £6.50 off in proper money off vouchers i also got a fair few extra points when you buy certain stuff. Obviously their algorithm didn't work properly cause all my extra pointers where things i buy regularly so i didn't actually spend any money i wouldn't have done normally and still got the extra points.

Tesco spend £1 to get 2 points. Collect 100 points to get £2 back. That is a 2% return, pretty sure that is currently better than my banks interest rate!

I do all my shopping by tesco which explains why the clubcard actually gives me a return. Also it is double points atm and i bought Win7 from them.

My mum has a beefeater card which gets 25% off or something if you eat with a family, and my mum also has a nectar card. Oh and she has a Matalan card lol.
I never realised until I was about 16 or 17, but to shop in Matalan you HAVE to be in the club lol.

Tescos club card points? maybe I dont use them enough but ive never had anything good back from them.

Out of shop's loyalty cards, Tesco Clubcard is one of the best - you currently get 2% of your spend back in vouchers and you can use 4x this amount on "deals" - so 8% off (plus any bonus points) if you want (say) restaurant vouchers or theme park tickets.

Boots is 4% back to spend in store, so also worth doing. Most other shops tend not to be more than 0.5% or 1%.

I used shell for a whole year and used to get vouchers through all the time with my points report.

AMEX gets me occasional discounts and cashback on some of my cards.

I also get at least £20 vouchers from my club card per year. I usually use these at restaurants (x4) though,
