I haven't really touched much Linux since Uni (4yrs ago) although I didn't find it to complex, I am sure thats more due to the level of complexity which we went into on the course.
As I start to think more about future prospects, Linux appears more and more in System Administrator jobs that I am looking at and although I got prior knowledge of them, I feel it is not up to a professional standard.
I am keen on doing a formal training/certification of some kind as I feel its the most structured way to learn any new discipline. Has anyone here undertaken the LPIC-1? or perhaps the CompTIA Linux+?
Could you let me know how you got on and whether you think they are worth the effort required, also which one would be the best to look into? And the time it took to complete them.
