LT71141 alternatives!?

LT71141 is a fairly old spec by now. Technology moves on and transmission oils are no stranger to this.

So, what would be the "best" currently available ATF for a 20 year old vehicle that originally used LT71141? (E36 BMW))

(While we are at it, what would be the "best" currently available ATF for a 20 year old vehicle that originally used DexIII (LC80))

Have done various web searches but cant find anything definitive, so it would be interesting to see what people here think.

Febi do one used this also multiple times
Carlube atf-u used multiple times
millers do one also used once and was fine
