Lucid Virtu/GTX 570 issue

Hey guys, I just installed Lucid Virtu. I thought it was supposed to disable my discrete GPU (GTX 570) when I'm not gaming, but I'm looking at Afterburner now and my discrete GPU is still getting some use, it seems. It's fluctuating between 0 and 10% use while I'm web browsing.

Is this a problem?

I couldn't tell you mate. I just installed it and left it at default. I've got the latest edition but I can't see any options referring to d or i mode.

then it's in d-mode, which isn't really power saving but allows intel quicksync to work. u'll want to put it in i-mode and connect it to the onboard port.

Okay, cool, thanks for the info. Is just plugging it into the mobo output all I need to do, because I don't know how to switch to i-mode manually?

No there should be a bios setting. You mighht wanna whip out your mb manual
