Under The Stairs!
I have just bought myself an MSI Z68A-GD55-G3, the question if anyone can answer is how do I hook up to my 2 displays, I have a monitor for the desktop(which is the main display) and a TV(usually for movies but the odd game) in the room next to the cupboard that the PC is housed in.

I usually have both HDMI cables running of my top 6950>70 going into each display.

Do I use the onboard HDMI using lucid and 1 output from the gfx card or not?

Hi there, connect both cables to the top graphics card.

Personally I wouldn't bother with Lucid Virtu unless you plan to make use of quick sync (for faster video transcoding). For your uses you want the graphics card powering the images.

Thanks for the reply cmdr, that's what I've been thinking, but do you lose quick sync completely if the onboard gpu is not used as it may come in handy now and then.
I could also connect it to my monitor as it's a Syncmaster P2450 and can use multiple inputs, although that could be another can of worms with it switching inputs.

I don't have a Z68 board, but i'm pretty sure the point of Lucid Virtu was to preserve access to the onboard GPU, without having to sacrifice using a proper graphics card. Therefore, using Virtu properly you should be able to get Quick Sync transcoding acceleration, even when all your monitors are connected into your graphics card.
