Dear Mr *******

RE: CTO Reference Number C12****** - Speeding Offence Dated 06.02.06

I am writing to you with regards the above-mentioned speeding offence.

Due to an administrative error there will be no further action in relation to this offence.

Yours sincerely

Hahah, I wish I had a scanner so I can scan it for you, dropped through my door this morning, had the NIP last Saturday. I'd been clocked by a mobile van at 47 in a 40.

Lmfao you bast , and i thought i was lucky getting stopped for 60 in a 40 and then being let off.

Damn that is lucky.....be careful from now on.....I reckon you have used your yearly quota of luck!!

Well thats what happened with me, never recieved a NIP after being flashed 17th December, kinda glad it happened as its made me a more careful and better driver:)

my sister was caught on the m6 at 108 ages ago. nothing was heard for ages, we looked into the limitation period for them to issue their claim against you.

the limitation period is 6 months. she received the summons last week, 6 days before the end of the limitation period. bad luck.

See I said they had 6 months to send the NIP but everyone else said it was 14 days unless its a company owned car?

So I may still get done.

It was only 5 days later I received the NIP for this one, then 7 further days to get this letter.

NIP is different to a court summons. they issue an NIP if they catch you on camera etc

she was pulled over and they are taking her to court to charge her. they have the evidence they needed to prosecute, hence the notice is not necessary as they didnt need to ask the "who was driving quesitons"

Seeing as we are all bragging, I went past an undercover Police Omega flat out on the motorway so about 120 but he looked asleep and I haven't heard anything :p
