Lucky Q6600 + TRUE?

Can't wait untill I ready to move on from my Q6600.... Will shove maximum voltage through it and stress it to hell. I wonder how long it will last?

Well just to give you a rough idea (not sure why I did this but never mind). I put 1 core under load at a time (Prime95). As soon as cores 1 and 2 were loaded it got up to around 84 86 77 78. Did the last 2 then it shot up to 93 and crashed.

Thank god for thermal protection rofl

I should imagine you are very close to damaging your cpu so unless you have shed loads of money to replace damaged componets wouldn't bother being so wreckless. I only intend to do this after my cpu has served me for at least a couple of years and Im ready to replace it.

I know it is a little wreckless. But having seen a video of a Pentium 4 3.0Ghz Socket 775 with the entire cooler removed whilst the system is active and under load, the machine crashed in the same way mine did.

The thermal throttling feature makes it very hard to break a CPU. If you did that with an AMD, it would just fry.

hey guys not been on boards for a while sorry for late reply ,im guessing my vid is low which is good right !, sort out msn later.
