Just got back from a [No competitor hinting]...

My Xbox 360 stopped reading game discs... Would play DVD's just fine... It was a failrly early release box... bought it on the 2nd of Feb... So it's year warranty had 6 days left...

Anyway... Took it down to the store... and the manager swapped it straight out... New one is much quieter... and they even let me swap my HDD out so I could keep all my game saves... downloaded content... etc...

Got my HD-DVD Drive the other day. Put the thing on top of the 360 and started to watch King Kong. Next thing I know my 360 has 3 red lights! :eek:

Luckily it seems to be some sort of heat issue as I've now seperated them and everything nice and dandy.

I do reckon It will go pop soon though. Been getting a lot of lock-ups in R6:V lately and little buggy-ness in the dashboard.
