I thought it would be cool to watch a professional at work however boredom kicked in very quickly His choice of variable names is shocking although I assume that is because he has a time limit.

The programming language Java and the Eclipse IDE. Paint.net for graphical work.

Make the video fullscreen, you can read what's going on then, it's scaled down by default.

I know hes doing it to a time limit but ugh... hardcoding color values with blocks of if statements goes against the grain.

That said the game conceptually does look awesome.
