Lumia 520 microsd question

ok i got my mum a new phone and she loves it, any way i just got a micro sd card through post and am wondering if i need a file structure on it for things like music and movies or if i can just chuck or the music albums on there and the phone just finds them no problem, i dont have the phone here or i would have tried :confused:

No need for file structure the phone/OS scans for music files etc and lists them in the music player/gallery (pics)
