We are looking at getting Lustrolite panels installed around our en-suite shower. We could tile for about half the price but fancy something different which stands out and is easy to maintain.

Does any one here have it or experience of fitting them?
Are there any other similar products available?

Thanks for the tip divuk.

We are tiling the floor with 60x60 sparkle granite black tiles and the walls will also be tilled. The high gloss panels are just for the 3 sides of the shower.

In terms of cost - Lustrolite panels are £300 each (2440mm x 1000mm), plus another £100 for the edge profiles, so it's not a cheaper alternative to tiling.

From the FAQ's on the website

How scratch resistant is Lustrolite?
Lustrolite has a high performance hard coat on the outer surface.
Lustrolite will not scratch, crack, warp, stain or discolor from normal residential use, and is technically rated to a surface hardness of 8H (pencil hardness).
