Luton goes van free.

It is the 2030 schedule rather than 2035 to ban all new ICE vehicles. The government is scrabbling to recover the situation. Apologies for post and run.

The goverment who set the target knew they wouldn't be having to deal with it by the time it gets here. But it would shut the eco mob up. That's how our government thinks.

Now 2030 is getting quite close there is panic as this lot might still be in the job when it hits :D

It was expecting this thread to be about Luton Vans.

Luton vans or vans from Luton. There is a difference, Luton vans being high bodied for removals or similar generally light loads. Vans from Luton appear to be a disappearing breed.

Nissan struggling too at the moment.

Eyes next to Sunderland?

Nissan is a mess at the moment IMO, they've both forgotten who their customers are, and trying to sell their customers one thing which they think they want while the actual product is something else. With the prices of some of the models they are just pushing their customers to other brands as well - those that can't afford the price will go to cheaper brands, those that can aren't going to be buying a Nissan in many of those segments.

Which is a shame because IMO they've been pushing out some nice looking vehicles lately.
