Looking to book front row seats, wife wants to, apparently its "very good"
Im really tall 6`6"
Theatre seats are usually a nightmare for me anyway.
This theatre does have more legroom seats for an ok price, this will be the back up plan....

Have you been to see this? "recently"
it looks like there's a curtain separating the front row stalls from the orchestra pit.
My knees will poke through/into it, this is fine...

Happy wife happy life....

ive already emailed the theatre to ask but usually that's a waste of time from experience...

Anyone got a clue? Do you work there? Are you in love with the Lion King and go every other week.

Haven’t been to the theatre for a long time, stopped going due to the crazy prices, incredibly small and uncomfortable seats and two loos available for the whole place. The lion king is probably still the best I’ve ever been to though.

Was told by everyone that it’s incredible, went to watch it and thought meh! I preferred Kinky Boots more but I really enjoyed Tina, wasn’t too long after she had passed so that may have played on me as it was quite emotional but for me Lion King is overrated and I’d rather just watch the original cartoon

The Lion King is fantastic - best show i've seen. I'm 6ft 2 and didn't have any issues with seating, although i did book an aisle seat so i could stick my legs out a bit.

It was many years ago i saw it at the Lyceum, but was a fantastic experience.

I went to see it about 10 years ago iirc. Went with family member who is well over 6 foot, and I don't recall him having any issues. We were about 4 rows from the front-ish....

Great show.

Now think about the person sat behind you. Oof.
i know but im not sitting at the back of everything my whole life.
Im actually very conscious about it and have spent a ridiculous amount of my life being polite.
ill sink as low as i can but oh well....
I even looked at a box but they are so booked up its a joke..
Im sick of being the nice guy.

Seen it twice, brilliant. My second favourite show after Book of Mormon.
I saw it in different theatres, none in London, and both times the "animals" come from the back, down the aisles to the stage at the very start so s itting at or near the end of the aisle might be good :)

There’s a website called Theatre Monkey they normally has seating plans that give an indication of how good seats are, taking into account legroom etc.

^see the seating plan on there and have a look at the additional comments etc.

Edit: the airplane equivalent to this is called ‘seat guru’.

I already used a seat plan and view from my seat site that's why I asked here.

Neither gave a finite answer. I hoped as we have such a mixed bunch here someone might actually know. The box office failed to answer, as did twitter and their Facebook page.

I've already booked 2 seats way back now in the more legroom row.. bloody. premium price at 100 each... Sucks to he tall.

Thanks for the replies. hakuna matata

Was hoping that guys mate would answer :p maybe a selfie and him swinging his legs from seat a29

Been three times -- I wouldnt say 6ft 4 will cause a problem down in the stalls. Don't go too close to the front though. Is there a seat map still?
